The E2KITS' Challenge |
|
|
For the Young |
|
|
They told me that young adults don't look at online resources for ideas
that could contribute to their future success. They told me that you
were too busy to think about the future. That the future was coming
to you and you were taking what life gave to you and want to make your
own mistakes and learn by experience. They told me that you want it
all, you want it now and you don't want to earn it. WHAT
I THINK
|
|
|
I think that young adults use online resources
more than any other demographic (group). I know, from my own experiences,
that time is always a precious commodity. I know the importance of
living in the present because the future is uncertain. I know that
this time of your life is a transition point between personal enjoyment
and dealing with personal responsibilities. I know that social interaction
is a high priority. I know that you are in control and making your
own decisions. I believe that most of you live your life based on
the following: maximize doing what you want to do, when you want to
do it, while minimizing any personal costs needed to support your
desires (and if possible, position yourself for future success). I
know I did. And regardless of what others say they would like you
to do, you... and only you, can make your decisions.

|
|
For the Middle-Aged |
|
|
They told me that adults who have been in the workforce for over 10
years were comfortable in their existing jobs and have accepted their
life's constraints. They told me that you were set in your ways. They
told me that regardless of the pressures being placed on your way of
life you would talk and complain that nobody is protecting your interests
but you could not be moved to action. They told me with your free time
being a precious commodity, you wouldn't have time to consider time-tested
ideas that may change your level of success. WHAT
I THINK
|
|
|
I think that most of us, after a significant
period of time in a particular environment, become comfortable with
having a standard routine by which we live our lives. I believe that
we all become a little uncomfortable when faced with change. After
all, change disrupts our routines and increases our recognition of
uncertainty. Many of us begin to feel a little insecure because change
may require us to develop new knowledge and, once again in our life,
be evaluated for our fitness in performing our daily activities and
carrying out our role. I believe that in today's environment, with
diminished loyalty between employer and employee, cost pressures for
labor and price pressures from imports; we all must establish a recognizable
perception of the value that we deliver to our employers. All of these
pressures come on top of a very hectic life where there seems to not
be enough time for everything that we want to do.
|
|
|
For the Well-Aged |
|
|
They told me that individuals who have been in the workforce for over
30 years would not be interested in an Internet based product. They
told me that if you have not already experienced success, you more than
likely would not, nor would you be inclined to pursue it. They told
me that your demographic (people your age) should not be targeted as
possible customers. WHAT
I THINK
|
|
|
I think that success occurs at many points in
time throughout our lives and that the actual definition of success
is personal. I believe that there are more older Americans using the
Internet every day. I believe that you are concerned with providing
for a good quality of life in your retirement and would welcome any
resource that could help you. I also believe that you would be interested
in a resource that may help your loved ones become more successful.
|
|
|
In
Summary
In
essence, they told me that you would not be interested in a product
that could help you become more successful by considering critical ideas
that make a difference for all of us. A product that will not tell you
how to do it, but one that will suggest why you should consider
possible activities, some of which you may already do, in a new light.
WHAT
I THINK
|
|
|
I think that nobody really knows for sure where
they will get an idea that makes a critical difference in their life.
Will it be through magazines, books, an online resource such as My-Leverage,
a conversation with friends or colleagues, a TV program or any other
source of information? Will it pop into your head in a moment of divine
inspiration, or will it come from reflection and conscious thought
about a particular challenge? Will it come in a pressure-packed or
relaxed atmosphere? Using My-Leverage requires the ability
to read and a desire to think. Reading through the current content
of My-Leverage will take between 1 to 2 hours of your
time... more if you engage in deep, reflective thought about how to
apply or evaluate what you are reading. The good thing is that you
are in total control of when and where you use My-Leverage.

at least make a small effort to understand its content. After all, what
do you have to lose... if you are not satisfied you can get your money

My-Leverage would suggest, it's your decision.
